LOCATION HAS CHANGED

Next tailgate: January 9, 2010, 7:30am LOCATION HAS CHANGED to parking lot D1 (third time at this location)

Typically, people are at the tailgate before 7am. Usually by 10am, it is mostly social, and by 11am it is over. If the weather is exceptionally bad, people will start to leave by 9:30-10am. If the weather is exceptionally good, there will still be straglers around noon.

Buy or sell electronics, radios, and computer hardware.

The Amateur Radio club is sponsoring a semiannual electronics swap meet / hamfest Saturday morning in the D1 parking lot (In front of HPA2 building). All are welcome. Amateur radio equipment and other computer and radio electronics will be for sale. No cost to attend or sell. Early attenders will see more bargains.

• Take turnpike to 408 exit
• Exit 408 at Alfaya North
• proceed ~4 miles north to pass University Blvd
• Turn right onto Gemini blvd (two streets north of University)
• proceed about ~1 miles
• Turn right onto Gemini Loop
• go straight into the HPA2 parking lot (parking lot D1)

• Exit 95 at 520
• Follow 520 until it becomes 50 West
• Take 50 West to Alafaya and make a right
• Turn right onto Gemini blvd (two streets north of University)
• proceed about ~1 miles
• Turn right onto Gemini Loop
• go straight into the HPA2 parking lot (parking lot D1)

[edit] a faster way from the 408

• Take 408 until it dead-ends onto Challenger Parkway
• Turn right onto Ingenuity Drive (the first light) until it dead-ends into Discovery Drive
• Turn left on Discovery Drive (which turns into Libra Drive after the light)
• Turn right at Gemini Blvd. E. (at the UCF water tower).
• Turn left at the SECOND entrance to the first parking garage (C)
• This spot is kind of hard to find unless you know your way around - so read carefully:
• Bear right at the entrance to Parking Lot C (do not go into the parking garage)
• Turn right at Parking lot C1 (about 400 ft - by this time you should see the Tailgate to your right)
• Turn right at the stop sign (300 ft.)
• Go another 400 ft and turn right into Parking Lot D1

Campus rules prohibit sales or display of the following items:

• Weapons (guns, knives, etc.)
• Explosives
• Food

You can bring food for personal use, of course, but please don't bring the other items.
