Some setup hints...

• During setup, do NOT set a password for the server configuration. This just makes it difficult to change the configuration and does not add any real security not already provided by Windows file permissions.
• For best results run Xconfig and change the following settings:
  • in screen settings, use SINGLE'' window
  • in communications do one of the following (use whichever works best):
    1. Change method to XDMCP indirect, set host to any of the XDMCP servers listed below.
    2. Change method to XDMCP broadcast and (if necessary) edit the host list to contain one or all of the XDMCP servers listed below
    3. Change method to Query and set host directly to the one host you wish to use

If only some of the servers you wish to use show up in the server list, try changing methods above, or use a different XDMCP server host, or add more hosts to the list.

The following servers support XDMCP indirect. Some of these have been fine tuned to be sure to include an appropriate list of hosts.

Note: This list is not complete. Probably any host that shows up in the broadcast list can be used, but the above are known to work.
