FUNSAT, or Florida University SATellite is a pico-satellite design contest held between Florida Universities with the winner having their entry launched into space. Each entry into the FUNSAT program is expected to design and contruct a cubical satellite conforming to the CalPoly "Cubesat" specification. The "Cubesat" specification provides many guidelines for the satellite bus which help to simplify the design process and allow team members to focus on their payload / experiment.
