Using network disks with Windows NT

Follow these directions to map your unix home directory into a Windows NT session:
  1. Right click on the My Computer or Network Neighborhood icons and select from the menu Map network drive.
  2. In the Path box, type \\carnot\login, where login is your login name, and press enter.
For Windows 2000, use \\mmae\login instead.
  3. Type your login name in the Connect as box, and type your unix password in the Password box
This will create a drive letter that corresponds to your home directory.

Don't forget to disconnect (from the same menu) the drive or log out before you leave.
